Mr Lim Chap HuatExecutive Chairman
Mr Lim co-founded Soilbuild with Mr Lee Choon Bu and Mr Fong Ying Wah in 1976, and has been instrumental in shaping its growth since he became Group Managing Director in 2001 subsequently the Executive Chairman in 2013.
A 35-year veteran in property development and project management, he chairs the executive committee that charts the Group's strategic direction and capital management. Working closely with the other directors, he oversees every facet of the Group's operations and ongoing projects to ensure that Soilbuild's long-term goals are met. They continually review the Group's construction and design capabilities to encourage constant innovation and improvement.
A strong believer in community service, Mr Lim is the Chairman of the Chong Pang Community Club Management Committee. His many contributions were recognised in 2009 when he was conferred the Public Service Star.
Mr Ho Toon BahExecutive Director (Soilbuild Construction Group Ltd)
With more than 20 years' experience in banking and finance, Mr Ho plays a crucial role on the executive committee in helping to enforce prudent capital management and pinpoint the best business opportunities. His participation has also been critical to the management team's efforts to define and refine the Group's strategic goals.
Mr Ho plays a pivotal role in the strategic growth of our Group's operations, and drives the development and execution of its business strategies, including securing construction contracts through structuring contracts and/or partnerships with potential customers. His responsibilities also include capital management, human resources and investor relations of our Group.
Before he left the banking industry, Mr Ho served as consumer banking head at Standard Chartered Bank in Malaysia. He is a chartered financial analyst as well.
Ms Lim Cheng HwaDirector, Capital Management Division
With more than 13 years of experience in the finance industry, Ms Lim leads the Capital Management division in its drive to keep the Group financially robust and armed with the resources to meet any challenge as Soilbuild presses ahead with new growth initiatives. She has overseen all the Group's financial, accounting, tax and treasury matters since becoming the unit's director in 2010. Business and investment development, corporate communications, human resources and administration fall under her purview as well. To help heighten the Group's public stature and profile, she also oversees its investor relations.
Before joining Soilbuild in 2007, Ms Lim was financial controller at MTQ Corporation.
Mr Lim Han FengDirector, Soilbuild Group Holdings Ltd
Mr Lim Han Feng was appointed to the Board on 27 May 2014. Together with other members of the Board of Directors, he charts the Group's overall strategy, business planning and direction, and drives the execution of various investment and business plans. In particular, he oversees the capital management and human resources development of the Group, with a focus to drive operational efficiency and sustainability.
With prior experience of close to 3 years, Mr. Lim was an Associate with Dymon Asia Capital (Singapore) Pte Ltd. He provided fundamental research on various sectors and trade idea generation. He was also an investment team member of Dymon Asia Private Equity, which he was responsible for building financial models and conducting financial and legal due diligence for potential investee companies.
Mr. Lim holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
Mr Lim Han QinDirector, Soilbuild Group Holdings Ltd
Mr. Lim Han Qin was appointed to the Board on 5 April 2016. Together with other members of the Board of Directors, Mr Lim charts the Group's overall strategy, business planning and direction, and drives the execution of various investment and business plans. In particular, he oversees the marketing and leasing division, driving initiatives on project development, sales launches, management of sales and leasing contracts as well as marketing communications. He also provides guidance and support on human resources development and legal matters of the Group.
Prior to joining the Group, Mr. Lim was with Allen & Gledhill LLP (Mergers & Acquisitions Department) as a Senior Associate for more than 3 years. He advised on and act in a broad range of local and regional transactions, including joint ventures, share and business acquisitions and disposals, corporate reorganisations, privatisations and mergers and private equity investments. He represented the company to major customers and professional associations.
Mr. Lim holds a Bachelor of Law from the National University of Singapore.
